Itinerary

Day 1 - Fes to Todra Gorge via Middle Atlas

Embark on a picturesque journey from Fes to Todra Gorge. After breakfast, your driver will collect you from your accommodation in Fes, and you’ll head towards the Middle Atlas region, passing through the charming town of Ifrane, often referred to as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’. Explore the verdant cedar forests of Azrou and enjoy the spectacular mountain landscapes. Lunch will be enjoyed amidst these scenic surroundings. The day continues with a drive through traditional Berber villages like Amellago, Ait Hani, and Tamtettoucht, offering opportunities for photo stops and cultural immersion. Your day concludes with an overnight stay in the stunning Todra Gorges.

Day 2 - Todra Gorge to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Post breakfast, explore the depths of Todra Gorge with a short hike, admiring the striking river valleys and local Berber villages. Then, journey towards Tinejdad to visit the fascinating Ksar El Khorbat and Musee Lalla Mimouna. Continue to the breathtaking Sahara sand dunes at Merzouga. In the evening, embark on a 1.5-hour camel trek to an oasis, experiencing a beautiful Sahara sunset. The day ends at a luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner, traditional Berber music, and a night under the starlit sky.

Day 3 - Merzouga to Fes via Erfoud, Azrou, and Ifrane

Begin with an early morning opportunity to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by breakfast at the desert camp. Depart Merzouga and head towards Fes. On the way, stop at Erfoud to explore the Museum of Fossils and Minerals. After a lunch break in Zaida, the journey continues through the Middle Atlas. Visit the monkey-inhabited cedar forests of Azrou and the picturesque town of Ifrane, admiring its famous stone lion. The tour concludes with your arrival in Fes in the evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your Riad, hotel, or Dar.
