Itinerary

Day 1 -Tangier to Chefchaouen via Tetouan

Your personalized Moroccan tour begins in Tangier. After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation and embark on a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, passing by Tetouan. As you absorb the Rif’s enchanting landscapes, you’ll arrive at Chefchaouen, the picturesque ‘Blue City’. Spend the night in a local riad/hotel, exploring the medina’s enchanting architecture and the Kasbah. In the evening, hike to the Spanish Mosque for a breathtaking sunset and a panoramic view of Chefchaouen. Dinner can be enjoyed at Place Outa el Hammam.

Day 2 - Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes

Post breakfast, set off towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. After exploring these historical remnants, continue to Meknes, a significant 17th-century imperial city. Post-lunch, delve into Meknes’ historical medina, visiting notable sites like Bab el-Mansour and Moulay Ismail’s shrine. The day concludes as you journey to Fes for the night.

Day 3 - Fes Guided Tour

In Fes, embark on a guided exploration of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled cities. Wander through alleys brimming with fresh fruits, spices, and traditional Moroccan art. Lunch in a quintessential medina restaurant precedes a visit to the leather tanneries and the venerable University of Al-Karaouine. The day ends with a hike to the Marinid Tombs, offering a stunning sunset view over Fes.

Day 4 - Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Midelt, and Erfoud

Depart Fes and traverse the Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, nicknamed ‘Little Switzerland’, to see its famed stone lion. Visit the cedar forests and Barbary apes of Azrou. Lunch in Midelt is followed by a drive through the Ziz Valley towards Erfoud, en route to the majestic Sahara dunes at Merzouga. Embark on an evening camel trek to an oasis, culminating in a night at a luxury desert camp under the stars.

Day 5 - Merzouga to Todra Gorge via Rissani and Erfoud

Witness a Sahara sunrise and breakfast at your desert camp before departing for Todra Gorge. Visit the Erfoud Fossil and Mineral Museum, then continue past Berber villages and the unique Elkhatarat irrigation system. Arrive at Todra Gorge for a peaceful evening.

Day 6 - Todra Gorge to Marrakech via Dades Valley and Ait Benhaddou

Journey from Todra Gorge to Dades Valley, passing through verdant fields and the Rose Valley. Visit the 17th-century Amridil Kasbah in Skoura and explore Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah Taourirt and Cinema Studio Altas. Then, marvel at the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

Day 7 - Marrakech Guided Tour

In Marrakech, a guided tour takes you through historical landmarks such as the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and Koutoubia Mosque. Discover Jardin Majorelle and Menara Gardens, and shop in the bustling souks. Enjoy panoramic views of Jamaa El Fna square from a local café.

Day 8 - Departure from Marrakech

Conclude your journey with breakfast and a transfer to the airport for your departure.
